Your information and your choices

Information you provide

We store account details such as your name, email and the career preferences you choose to save. When you save work or request a career tool, the service may store CV text, job descriptions, document versions, interview answers, generated reports and application records in your account.

Some tools read a file in your browser before you submit its text. A draft can be kept temporarily in the browser tab when you move to sign-in. Do not include information that is unnecessary for your application, such as identity-document numbers or financial account details.

Why information is used

We use account information to provide sign-in, save your work and apply your preferences. CV and job information is used for the analysis, writing or interview practice you request. A contact request includes your name, reply email, topic and message so the team can respond.

AI and other service providers

When you request an AI feature, relevant text is sent to the AI provider configured for the service. The provider processes it under its own terms and account settings. Our use of an inference API does not establish a no-training or no-retention guarantee for that provider.

Email providers process messages needed for verification and password recovery. Hosting providers store and operate the service. Job-search providers receive the search criteria you submit. Contact us for details about current providers, hosting location or backup retention before submitting information that requires particular handling.

Retention and deletion

Saved career records remain in your account until you delete them or delete your account. Original files uploaded to backend storage and temporary administrator review copies expire after 48 hours and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Files read only in the browser are not stored as original files by that process.

Contact messages are removed after 90 days. Operational logs can record sign-in activity, errors, an IP address and browser details for security and troubleshooting. Personal records in application storage are removed when you delete your account; backups and records held by external providers can follow different retention schedules.

Cookies, browser storage and analytics

Session cookies are needed to keep you signed in. Optional public-page analytics run only after you allow them. They record page paths, visitor and session identifiers, referral information and basic device information. CV content is excluded, and the analytics records do not store your raw IP address.

You can decline analytics or change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer or Data & privacy in your account settings. Declining removes the analytics identifiers from this browser and stops future optional tracking; it does not identify or erase already collected anonymous visits.

This version of the website does not load advertising scripts. If advertising is introduced, the privacy notice and consent setup must be updated before those scripts run.

Access, export and account removal

In account settings, you can update your details, download a JSON copy of your saved information and delete a personal account after confirming your password. Administrator accounts cannot be deleted through the personal settings page. You can delete individual career records in your workspace.
